I qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and for the earlier part of my career I was a leading partner with a large, commercially orientated legal practice. I have accumulated a vast amount of experience in handling commercial conveyancing.

Outside work, my interests include attending live sporting and music events; and adventure holidays. I go to the gym and play tennis. I am married with three grown up children.

MICHELLE PETERS
Managing Director

I am a qualified Conveyancer authorised by the Council for Licensed Conveyancers. I qualified in 2012 and have over 16 years’ experience in conveyancing in all areas of property law.

I supervise the team leaders as set out below.

My interests include running, fitness training, long walks with the dog and traveling abroad.

Rachel Carhart
Director

I qualified as a solicitor in 2018 and I am now a Director at TQ.

I am also a Team Leader within the residential conveyancing department and have 8 years’ experience in conveyancing. I am supported by Lyndsey Eatough who joined as an admin assistant in 2018 and is now a Senior Legal Assistant, and Tilly Carroll who joined as an admin assistant in 2019 and is now a Junior Legal Assistant, both under the direct supervision of myself as their team leader. Our team in particular specialises in leasehold apartment sales and purchases and newbuild purchases, as well as all other aspects of residential conveyancing including freehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages and transfer of equity.

I live in Liverpool and outside of work I enjoy sewing and dressmaking, keep fit classes. I love to travel and visit new places as much as I can.

Ashley Williams
DIRECTOR & COMMERCIAL TEAM LEADER

I qualified as a solicitor in 2021, I am a director and the commercial property team leader. I specialise in commercial property, including business sales and purchases, along with commercial mortgages, bridging finance and Shariah-compliant finance.

I am supported by Emma Jones, a case manager with 6 years’ experience and Kelsey Anderson who has worked on conveyancing since 2017

I am from the area and completed my Law degree, Master’s degree and LPC at the University of Law. Outside of work I enjoy the gym and gaming.

NAIMAH KAMAL
Director

I qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and have progressed to becoming a Director at TQ Law.

I am part of the supervising management team within the residential department and manage two teams

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

SHAUNNA PERKINS
Team Leader

I have over seven years’ experience in residential conveyancing including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages.

My supervising Director is Debbie Jones who oversees all my transactions.

I am supported by my two assistants Mell and Jade.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching my son play football for a local team and spending time with my family and friends. I am DIY enthusiast who loves to learn new things.

KATRINA PENDLEBURY
Team Leader

I have over 14 years conveyancing experience specialising in residential conveyancing including sales and purchase. I am currently completing the relevant course to become a fully qualified Licensed Conveyancer.

My supervising Director is Deborah Jones who oversees all my transactions.

I am supported by my Senior Legal Assistant Abigail Carroll who has 5 years’ experience and my Junior Legal Assistant Katie Comins who joined TQ in 2020 who has recently completed a law degree.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, decorating cakes and spending time with the family on nice walks around the country.

SARAH BROCKLEY
Team Leader

I am Team Leader specialising in residential conveyancing I have worked in the field of Conveyancing for 14 years.

I have over 14 years conveyancing experience specialising in residential conveyancing including sales , purchases and re-mortgages.

My supervising Director is Debbie Jones who oversees all my transactions.

I am supported by my Senior Legal Assistant Katie Ascroft who has 6 years’ experience and my Junior Legal Assistant Becky Hollingsworth with 2 years’ experience in conveyancing

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and also enjoy attending keep fit classes.

Carol Morris
Team Leader

I am Team Leader specialising in all types of residential conveyancing I have worked in the field of Conveyancing  for 21 years.

My supervising Director is Michelle Peters who oversees all my transactions.

I am supported by my Senior Legal Assistant Shannon McLaughlin who joined conveyancing in 2019 and joined the team from our Commercial Team in 2021 and my Junior Legal Assistant Louise Pemberton who joined in 2020 and who works under the direct supervision of their named Team Leader.

Outside of working hours I enjoy spending time with my three children and socialising with friends.  I am from Ashton In Makerfield.

Joanna Atkinson
Team Leader

I have over 14 years conveyancing experience specialising in residential conveyancing including sales, purchases and re-mortgages. I am currently completing the relevant course to become a fully qualified Licensed Conveyancer.

I am supported by my Senior Legal Assistant Katie Birkett who has 3 years’ experience and my Junior Legal Assistant Kathryn Wild  who joined TQ in 2021  with 3 years’ experience in conveyancing

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and walks with my dogs.

Tracey Anderson
Team leader

I work within the residential conveyancing department with my 2 assistants Jilly and Sara.

I have worked in conveyancing for 17 Years continually working within the conveyancing department.

Initially I dealt with Newbuild Properties and now I specialise in Unregistered transactions along with handling day to day sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers.

Sara is my senior assistant and she has worked in conveyancing for 4 years. Sara has been within my team for 3 years, Sara specialises in unregistered sales along with dealing with general sales transactions with my guidance.

Jilly has worked in conveyancing for 6 years. Jilly assists me in all purchase, re-mortgage and transfer transactions.

Michelle Peters, Managing Director for TQ, over sees all my transaction and I have worked with Michelle for nearly 15 years.

I am married with 2 children. I like to spend my spare time travelling in our VW transporter around the UK with the kids.

Abigail Higginbotham
Team leader

I have over seven years’ experience in residential conveyancing ranging from freehold/leasehold purchases, sales & re-mortgages.

My supervising director is Michelle Peters who oversees all of my transactions.

I am supported by my legal assistant Molly who has over 2 years’ experience in conveyancing.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my little boy & Fiancé, socialising with friends and walking my two bichons Alfie and Teddy.

Katie Comins
TEAM LEADER

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a Law Degree and then went on to complete my master’s qualification at the University of Law. I have over 5 years’ experience of working at TQ and I am supervised by Ashley Williams.

I began my Training Contract in September to become a qualified solicitor. Outside of work I enjoy travelling with friends and family and going on days out with my labrador, Humphrey

Bryan Perkins
BACK UP CASE MANAGER

Qualifications: 2:1 BA Hons degree

I am a backup case manager with 3 years full time experience in residential conveyancing with a further 3 years with part time experience in residential conveyancing whilst I was studying. I specialise in residential sales and purchases. I do not currently have any conveyancing qualifications but it is something I would like to work towards achieving in the future

My supervising director is Michelle Peters and Deborah Jones who oversees my involvement on all transactions

I do not work in a team and instead provide support to all of the residential conveyancing teams. In addition to supporting the residential teams I also assist with title approvals for residential conveyancing

Outside of work I enjoy socialising with friends, keeping fit especially playing football and going to old Trafford to support Manchester united

Emma Jones
Case Manager

I am a Case Manager in the Commercial Team with over 6 years’ experience in conveyancing. I have experience in all areas of residential conveyancing including new build transactions but currently specialise in apartment sales and purchases, commercial transactions, commercial mortgages and bridging finance.

I have recently started studying for my Level 4 Diploma and will then go on to complete the Level 6 Diploma to ultimately qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer.

I enjoy travelling and spending time with my family and friends. I also have a cavapoo called Oscar and love taking him for long walks and to the beach.

Emma Murphy
POST COMPLETIONS TEAM MANAGER

I currently have 8 years conveyancing experience, I started in the industry working within the Legal Team before joining the Post Completions Department where I progressed to Manager of the team.

I deal with all Post Completion matters and enquiries, including the registration process with HM Land Registry of all purchase, new build, unregistered, transfer of equity and re-mortgage transactions and offering support where needed to our legal teams.

I am supported by my assistants Jade Starkie and Natalie Bachegalup who both have seven years experience within the Post Completion Department. My supervising Director is Michelle Peters
